NEET Exam 2018 – Check Answer Key Here

NEET exam 2018 Answer Key is available on the official website from 25 May 2018.

25 May 2018: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) was conducted on 6 May 2018. As per the official schedule, the NEET answer key has been released. The official schedule for display of OMR sheets and the code of test booklet have also been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the exam conducting authority. Candidates can check the answer key, OMR sheet, and test booklet code by logging into NEET website using their registered ID and password.

Types of Answer Keys:

There are two types of answer key available online; official and unofficial:

• Official Answer Key: The official answer key is published by CBSE on NEET website. The PDF file contains the correct answers of all the questions of NEET exam 2018. Usually, the answer key is released within two weeks after the exam. CBSE also gives you option to challenge the answer if you have any confusion. Such challenges are considered by the experts and changes are made in the official answer key if required. The official answers are considered as authentic since they are released by the conducting body itself.
• Unofficial Answer Key: There are many coaching centres that release the answer keys on their respective websites within a day or two after the exam. These are unofficial answer keys. No candidates can challenge the unofficial answer key. It helps the curious students to assess their performance in the exam. 

Steps to Download NEET 2018 Official Answer Key:

• Visit the official website of NEET exam
• On the homepage, select the link for the official answer key
• Log-in with your registered ID and password.
• The pdf file for Answer Key will be displayed on the screen
• You need to download it and cross check with check with your own answer.

Steps to Calculate the NEET Scores from Official Answer Key:

Before calculating the NEET score from the answer key, you need to know the marking scheme of the exam. For every correct answer, they will be awarded 4 marks and 1 mark will be deducted from the total. No mark will be awarded or deducted if the candidates have left blank or marked more than one answer. Find the exam pattern and marking scheme of the exam here:

Now calculate your score by counting 4 marks for correct answer and -1 for the wrong answer.
