Syllabus for AP LAWCET 2023

AP LAWCET 2023 syllabus is as under. Candidates must stay updated on current affairs. The syllabus for other sections is as under:

General Knowledge and Mental Ability - Dates and Days, Civics, New Appointments, New Amendments, Trade Terminologies, Superlatives, Indian Constitution, Geography.

Aptitude for the Study of Law - Mercantile Law, Public International Law, Labour Law, Crimes and Torts, Contract and Constitution Law, Strict Liability, Law of Crime, Constitutional Law and Polity, International Law, etc.

AP LAWCET 2023 Eligibility

Candidates seeking admission to law courses must meet the eligibility criteria. Do check the eligibility conditions before applying for the exam:

  • Indian nationals who meet the docile requirements of Andhra Pradesh state.
  • Non-Indian students may be accepted in some private colleges. However, they must check the concerned guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria

3-year LLB

Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (any discipline) from a recognized University with a minimum of 45% marks (42% for the BC category and 40% for the SC/ ST category)

5-year Integrated LLB

Completed class 12th or 2-year intermediate or equivalent examination from a recognized board of intermediate education, AP.

The minimum qualifying marks in the exam must be 45% for the General category, 42% for the BC category, and 40% for SC/ ST category.

AP LAWCET 2023 Application Process

AP LAWCET 2023 online application process will begin in February 2023. The applications for the exam will be accepted only through online mode. Thus, candidates are required to fill out the forms well on time. Here is the complete procedure.

Steps to Fill AP LAWCET 2023 Application Form

  • Go to the official website at aplawcet.nic.in.
  • Click on the link for AP LAWCET 2023 registration.
  • Complete the registration process by providing details such as name, category, DoB, mobile number, and Email ID.
  • Make application fee payment. The fee can be paid using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.
  • On successful registration, you will receive login details. Check the registration status and proceed with completing the remaining application process.
  • Log in and complete the remaining application form with details such as academic qualification, exam center choice, exam medium, etc.
  • Upload the passport-size photograph and signature in .jpg format. The scanned image of a photograph must be less than 30 KB, and that of the signature must be less than 15 KB.
  • Check the complete application form carefully and submit the same.
  • Take a print of the confirmation page for future reference.
