Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) conducts the Tripura Joint Entrance Examination every year. The examination is conducted for admission to Engineering, Veterinary Science, Agriculture Science, Fisheries Science, and other courses offered by the colleges in Tripura state. Candidates seeking admission to Engineering/ Technology courses (Group A) have to appear for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics papers while those seeking admission in Agriculture/ Veterinary/ Fisheries/ Paramedical and other courses (Group B) are required to appear for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology papers. And, candidates who are interested in the courses of both the groups are required to appear for all the four papers. Tripura JEE (TJEE) 2020 Latest Update - The exam conducting body has released the TJEE admit card 2020 on 21st September 2020. The admit card will be available in online mode only and will be made available on the official website until the exam day i.e. 26th September 2020.

The admit card of Tripura JEE is an important document required to appear in the entrance examination conducted by Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) for admissions to various undergraduate engineering programmes across the state. Candidate must bring their TJEE 2020 admit card in every session of examination. The candidates sending incomplete application form of Tripura JEE 2020 will also not be provided with the TJEE admit card 2020.

The TJEE 2020 exam is conducted through offline (OMR-based) mode. The exam comprises of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). 50 questions carrying 2 marks each will be asked in each paper as per the group selected by the candidates.

TJEE Exam 2020 Eligibility

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria to apply for the TJEE 2020 exam. Check out the detailed eligibility criteria in the official notification.

Citizenship - Candidates must be an Indian National and permanent resident of Tripura. The candidate or his/her parents must be residing in Tripura for at least 10 continuous years.

The following candidates are also eligible for the exam:

  • Children of central or state government employees.
  • Children of state government employees who are posted outside Tripura.
  • Children of All India Services Officers born in Manipur - Tripura.

Education Qualification - Candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent examination.

TJEE Exam 2020 Application Process

The application process for the TJEE 2020 exam was conducted from 04th February 2020 and continued till 24th February 2020. Candidates must fill the application form till the last date of submission. Here are the steps to apply for the TJEE 2020 exam.

  • Enter a valid email ID and mobile number to complete the registration.
  • After successful registration, login.
  • On login, you will receive a user reference ID. Keep it safe. It is necessary for all future communications.

Complete the Profile

Complete the profile by uploading the scanned images of your photograph, signature, BPL certificate (if applicable), and caste certificate (if applicable). The scanned images must meet the prescribed specifications.

Complete the Application Form -

After completing the profile, complete the application form by providing details related to qualification, residence, group choice, exam centre choice, etc.

Verify all the details carefully and finalize the application form. Please note that no changes will be allowed in the application form details after finalizing the form.

Make fee payment

After the final submission, candidates are required to make the application fee payment. The fee can be paid using the Debit/ Credit card or internet banking. The application fee details are as under:

Print Acknowledgment

Once the fee payment is successful and the fee status is appearing online, take a print of the application acknowledgement. Keep it safe for the record.

Do not send any document or hard copy of the application fee to the exam conducting authorities.

TJEE 2020 Admit Card

TJEE 2020 admit card is released online at the official website by 21st September 2020. Candidates can download their admit card using the user Id and password created at the time of registration. The last date of downloading the admit card will be the exam date. The date and timing of the exam and the address of the examination venue is mentioned on the admit card. Admit card is a mandatory document for appearing in the examination.

Important Instructions related to TJEE 2020 Admit Card

TJEE 2020 Answer Key

The answer key for the TJEE 2020 exam will be uploaded online at the official website. The provisional answer key will be released after the completion of the exam, while the final answer key will be released tentatively by 30th September 2020. The final answer key will be released after considering candidates’ challenges against the provisional answer key.

TJEE 2020 Result

TJEE 2020 result is likely to be out on October 2020 (first week). Candidates are required to enter their roll number and date of birth for checking their result. The result is released in the form of scorecards and merit list.

TJEE 2020 Counselling

The TJEE 2020 counselling will be conducted in October 2020. The counselling process is conducted offline. Only those candidates who have qualified the written examination are eligible to take part in the counselling process. Candidates are required to report at the counselling venue along with all the required documents.
