RRB ALP 2018 Recruitment - Stage 3 Aptitude Test Postponed, Fresh Date to be Announced Soon

The Railway Recruitment Board has postponed the Stage 3 Aptitude Test for the Assistant Loco Pilot & Technicians exam. The notice on the official website reads.

“The Aptitude Test for RRB ALP Stage 3, scheduled for 16-Apr-2019 has been postponed. A fresh date for this Aptitude Test will be announced shortly. A notice for the same will be published on official websites of RRBs on 11-Apr-2019. Inconvenience caused is regretted - Railway Recruitment Boards.”

The notification was released on 11th April stating, “RRBs have decided to once again check the correctness of final keys and evaluation to ensure fairness to all candidates and the recruitment process. On completion of this review, RRBs will publish final keys of these few questions along with the revised scores of the candidate. The revised list of shortlisted candidates will also be published on the websites of RRBs for the information of all the candidates.”

Initially, the result of the second stage CBT was published on all RRB websites on 5th April 2019. However, the board received some representations from the candidates related to the answer keys, normalisation, etc. Thus, the board has decided to review the result and postponed the Aptitude Test.

The date for the aptitude test will be announced shortly. As per the earlier schedule, the Aptitude Test was scheduled to be conducted on 16th April 2019.

RRBs have also requested the candidates to look for the updates/information related to the exam only at the official website and not to fall prey to any false/unconfirmed information.

RRBs have released the advertisement for the recruitemnt of Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician in February 2018 for a total 26,502 posts.

3rd Stage CBT - Aptitude Test

The Aptitude Test will be conducted for only those candidates who have applied for the Assistant Loco Pilot post. In order to be eligible for appearing in the Aptitue Test, candidates must have qualuied the second stage CBT. There will be no negative marking in the Aptitude Test.

Those who qaulify the Aptitude Test will be called for the Document Verification process. The candidates finally shortlisted for the ALP and Technician posts will have to undergo training. Stipend will be paid during the training period.
