XAT 2018: XLRI Confirms Re-Exam for Two Centres

08 January 2018: Technical glitches interrupted the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2018 conducted on 7 January 2018 (Sunday). The exam was held online for the first time. Some MBA aspirants who appeared for XAT Exam 2018 faced connectivity issues during the exam. They posted about the ‘issues’ on various social media platforms.

After these complains, XLRI (Xavier School of Management), the exam conducting body, has decided to reschedule the examination for two exam centres. Through an official statement, XLRI said; at 2 centres due to server related technical issues, the exam couldn’t be conducted. Re-examination will be conducted at these centres for the affected students. The new date will be announced very soon and communicated to the affected students.

The official statement further states; “One of the two centers is in Kolkata and other is in Gurgaon.”

XAT Exam 2018 was held at 314 centres including Kathmandu and Dubai.

XAT Exam is conducted at all India level for admission to management programmes. It is organized by XLRI every year. The XAT score card is considered by more than 150 management institutions for admission process.
