PMRF Application Begins Online; How to Apply and Check Other Details

New Delhi/ 26.02.2018: The application for PMRF has begun online. The last date to apply for the Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship programme is 31^st March, 2018. Interested candidates are required to log on to the official website and apply. The research fellowship scheme has been designed to attract the best talent. It offers fellowship to the selected students and admission to PhD programmes in one of the IITs and IISc. The students would receive handsome remuneration to cover academic expenses.

Last Date to Apply – March 31, 2018

Interviews at Nodal Institution – May 15 onwards (Tentative)

Result Announcement – June 1 (Tentative)

How to Apply Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship?

• To apply, candidates must visit the main website i.e. https://pmrf.in. Click on “Apply Online” on the top. Check the below image.

• As you click, you will be directed to a link where necessary instructions are given to fill the form. Go through it thorough before heading further.

Personal details that applicants need to provide are -

• Applicant Name
• Father’s Name
• Mother’s Maiden Name
• Gender
• Date of Birth
• Address for Correspondence
• City, State, PIN
• Email ID & mobile number
• Aadhaar number*

Applicants from states like Meghalaya, Assam and J&K need to produce their passport number, bank account number, ration card number or any valid government issues identity number.

Photograph and academic details are compulsory
