DU Admission 2019 - NTA to Conduct Entrance Examination for UG Courses

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the Delhi University entrance examination this year. DU Admission Committee Head, Rajeev Gupta, said; “The National Testing Agency will conduct the entrance examinations for all the UG, PG courses conducted by the varsity.” The entrance exam is conducted for more than 180 courses including undergraduate programmes. The admission to UG level programmes is done on the basis of entrance exam wherein seats are allotted on the basis of the marks in the entrance exam and class 12th exam. There are 11 undergraduate programmes for which the entrance exam is conducted.

DU Admission 2019 - Entrance Exam Pattern

As informed by the Dean of Examination, DU, Mr. Vinay Gupta, the entrance exam will be conducted in three sessions per day. Jammers and CCTV surveillance will be installed at the exam centres. Here are the details on the exam pattern:

The questions are designed to evaluate candidates’ aptitude for the related courses. The final schedule for the exam will be uploaded on the official portal.

DU Admission 2019 - Answer Key

The answer key for the question paper will be uploaded at the official website within 24 hours. 48 hours will be provided for submitting challenges/objections against the answer key.

The admission to most of the courses at Delhi University is done on merit-basis and for some courses entrance exam is conducted. The admission process for UG courses has started for the academic session 2019-2020 on 31st May at 8 PM. The online registration will start in a few days. The application process will be online, so visit the official website - du.ac.in - for updates. The list of documents required for online application is available at the official website. The admission for Postgraduate programmes, postgraduate diplomas, M.Phil., and Ph.D. programmes will begin on 3rd June 2019. The first cut-off will tentatively release on 20th June.
