New Delhi/11.06.2018: Speculated to be declared on or after 20th June, the Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry has announced the JIPMER 2018 results on the official website on June 9. Those who had taken the test can visit the official JIPMER website for their JIMPER MBBS 2018 results.
This year, the exam was held at 290 centres across India and around 1.6 lakh students had appeared. Ankadala Anirudh Babu emerged as the top scorer with a percentile of 99.998. Akhil Tambi and Prerak Tripathi had occupied the second and third spot respectively. In women, Keerthana K, who is the NEET topper of Tamil Nadu, has secured the number 5th position in the merit list.
The JIPMER entrance examination was organised to fill up 200 seats (150 seats for JIPMER Puducherry and 50 seats for JIPMER Karaikal) in the undergraduate medical course
The dates for JIPMER MBBS counselling 2018 have also been announced by the conducting body. It will begin from June 26 at JIPMER Academic Centre, Puducherry. The complete counselling process will be organised in three rounds and candidates need to be present physically since it is an offline process. Applicants with minimum percentile (as prescribed) would be considered for the counselling.
