IOCL Vacancy application forms are available from the official website. There are total 965 vacancies for the post of apprentice in Trade and Technical section.
17 November 2017: The Marketing Division of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL); the Northern region has posted vacancy for the apprentices under Apprentices Act, 1961. The total numbers of vacancies of different trades are 965. The apprentice period will be for 12 months. The Trade Apprentice will get a consolidated Stipend according to the Apprenticeship Rules with the additional amount of ₹ 25000 for the Stationary, Conveyance and Miscellaneous expenses. The posting of the selected candidates will be in the following states – "Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand". - For the Trade Apprentice: For the general and OBC category students, they need to have minimum 50% marks in aggregate from any recognized University or Institute in full time or regular course. And for the other reserved people, it is 45% in aggregate.
- For the Technical Apprentice: For the general and OBC category students, the required qualification is 50% marks in fulltime, regular or sandwich Diploma Course in Engineering from any recognized University or Institute. And for the SC/ST/PWD category, it is 45% in Aggregate.
- The aspirant should not have any apprenticeship earlier as per the Apprentice Act, 1961
- The candidate, who has work experience or formal training for one year after completing the education, is not eligible to apply as Technical Apprentice.
The age limit of the candidate must be 18-25.
