The Indian Navy has released a recruitment notification for the post of Artificer Apprentice (AA) and Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR). Indian Navy Recruitment AA SSR 2020 - Key Highlights

• There are a total of 2200 recruiting vacancies for Artificer Apprentice and 500 vacancies for Senior Secondary Recruits.
• The mode of application for employment will be conducted through online mode only.
• At the time of application, one should need to submit the following documents:
  • Original certificates
  • Domicile certificate
  • Class 10^th and 12^th mark sheet
  • NCC certificate
• Candidates belonging to SC/ST category don’t need to pay any application fee, while other categories need to pay an amount of ₹ 205 (Rupees Two hundred and five only).
• The mode of payment is online which will be commenced by using Visa/RuPay/Master/Credit/Debit/ UPI.
• The mode of selection will be comprised of the following criterion:
  • Computer-Based Examination
  • Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and
  • Medical Fitness Examination

Eligibility Criteria –

Interested students who want to enrol under Indian Navy Sailor Recruitment 2020 need to meet up the eligibility pattern which is as followed:

For Sailor (Artificer Apprentice)

• Candidates completing 10+2 examination with 60% marks or more in aggregate with Maths and Physics with at least one of these major subjects - Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Biology from the recognized board by MHRD, Govt. of India.
• The age limit of the applicant should be in between 01^st February 2000 to 31^st January 2003.

For Sailor (Senior Secondary Recruits)

• Candidates completing 10+2 examination with Maths and Physics with at least one of these major subjects - Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Biology from the recognized board by MHRD, Govt. of India.
• The age limit of the applicant should be in between 01^st February 2000 to 31^st January 2003.

Pay Scale –

The candidates who will be selected for the post of Artificer Apprentice will get ₹ 22,000 to ₹ 28,400, while for Senior Secondary Recruits; candidates will get ₹ 19,000 to ₹ 22,400.
