Check the Indian Navy INET Exam Result 2019

INET is a computer-based test and the result determines the candidates who have qualified for the next phase of the selection process:

  • Go to INET official website.
  • Look for the ’INET 2019 Result’ link under the ‘Current Events’ section on the home-page.
  • Click the link.
  • Now, enter your registration ID and password to log-in.
  • Your INET 2019 result will appear on the screen.
  • Check the result and take a print for future reference.

Qualifying Criteria for INET

INET exam comprises of a total 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from four sections. Each section is of 100 marks and candidates are required to secure minimum 40% marks in each section separately to qualify the exam.

INET 2019 Merit List

The final merit list for the Indian Navy recruitment process is prepared on the basis of candidates’ performance in the INET exam and SSB interview round. Candidates recommended by the SSB have to go through the medical fitness examination. The All India Merit list is released at the official website. The merit list is prepared on the basis of the number of vacancies in different branches.

INET 2019 Training

After the final result, selected candidates are required to undergo 22 weeks training/ Naval Orientation Course. However, candidates under Short Service Commission (SSC) IT branch will have to undergo only 4 weeks training. This training is conducted at the Naval Academy, Ezhimala. The training is followed by professional training in Naval Ships and Training Establishments.
