AICTE Issued Guidelines for PGDM/PGCM 2020-21 Course Applications
After UGC, AICTE has come up with informative guidelines regarding fresh PGDM/PGCM course calendar.
The All India Council for Technical Education commonly known as AICTE has released a letter to all affiliated colleges regarding the fresh PGDM/PGCM course 2020-21. In a letter, AICTE directs all the colleges and institutes providing courses on engineering, architecture, management, and pharmacy to follow the guidelines issued by the UGC. Along with the affiliated colleges, universities, deemed to be universities, affiliated technical institution and polytechnics are also instructed to pursue the same.
Earlier on 29th April, UGC had released new guidelines to all universities regarding the new and old academic calendar for the semester term exams and admission term exams.

In a view of national lockdown imposed to control the spread of Sars-Cov-2, all standalone PGDM/PGCM institutions are directed by the AICTE to follow the academic calendar 2020-21 for admission. Find the complete calendar below.

The issues letter also stated that the institutes or colleges should not hike the admission fees or other additional fees for the academic year 2020-21. They cannot force the shortlisted students to pay any advance fees during this lockdown period.
In case, the examinations of the first year students of the academic year 2019-20 sessions could not be conducted before the lockdown, then the mode of examination and further promotion to the higher classes will be completed as per the UGC released guidelines.
