Gujarat PGCET Exam Pattern

Gujarat PGCET will be held in offline (pen-and-paper based) mode for 90 minutes where 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked from the respective subjects. The exam is conducted for different engineering subjects.

Candidates must have passed bachelor’s (engineering) or equivalent examination (in relevant discipline) with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ SEBC) from a recognised University.

Gujarat PGCET 2021 Application Process

The online application process for the Gujarat PGCET 2021 has started on 20th July 2021. Candidates are required to purchase a PIN cover from the designated ICICI bank branch before registering for the exam. Here is the complete procedure for form filling.

Steps to Fill the Gujarat PGCET 2021 Application Form

The application process will be completed in the following phases.


  • Purchase a PIN cover of ₹ 500 from the designated ICICI branch. The PIN cover consists of a User ID and password.
  • Now, visit the official website and click the application form link.
  • Access the application form using the User ID and password provided in the PIN cover.
  • Complete the application form by providing the details asked for.

Upload the Documents

  • Upload the scanned images of the required documents as per the specifications mentioned. Candidates are required to upload a recent passport size photograph in .jpg/ .png format of maximum 20 KB size.

Reviewing the Application Form

  • Review all the details carefully and accept the declaration before submitting the application form.
  • A unique registration number will be generated and displayed on the screen. Note down the registration number.

Visit the Help Centre

  • After submitting the application form, take a print of the completed form and self-attest the same.
  • Carry the application form along with specified documents (original) to the help centre for verification.
  • Collect the acknowledgement slip cum admit card.
