Exam Highlights -

  • The exam will be held in two rounds- Tier 1 and Tier 2. However, for most the exam Tier 2 will not be conducted as it is a skill-based test.
  • The overall paper comprises multiple choice questions consists of 200 questions for each paper.
  • Talking about the marking scheme, +1 mark will be granted to the candidate for every correct answer whereas, 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

DSSSB Recruitment Exam 2020 Eligibility

  • For all PGT Posts- 36 years
  • For Group B and C Posts- 27 to 32 years

  • For Other Posts- 30 Years

Educational Background

For DSSSB PGT 2020 -

  • An applicant must hold a master’s degree or equivalent in the concerned subjects from any Indian recognized university or institution. (in case of PGT Sanskrit/Hindi only)
  • Those who have a diploma or degree in education/ training can also apply.

For DSSSB Music Teacher 2020 -

  • Students who hold a BA degree with Music as the important subject are eligible to apply.
  • Other than this, apprentices have qualified the essential music exam along with their +2 level.

For DSSSB TGT 2020 -

  • Students should hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a sum total of 45% marks from the recognized university or college.
  • Diploma in Training Education or SAV certification holder can eligible to apply.
  • Apart from this, candidates should also have a working knowledge of Hindi and must be a qualifier of CTET exam conducted by CBSE.

For Group B and C

  • Students should be a pass out student of +2 levels or possess a graduate degree in the relevant stream for Group B post.
  • Recruitment vacancies of Welfare Officer, an apprentice must possess a graduate degree in sociology or social work.
  • Students with a master’s degree in criminology can also apply.

For Other Posts

  • Candidates with bachelors or masters degree or having a diploma in the requisite subject.

Age Relaxation Norms

 

The age relaxation norms for reserved category students are as follows-

  • SC/ST- 5 years
  • OBC(Delhi)- 3 years
  • Ex-Servicemen Group C & B (Non-Gazetted)- Period of Military service plus 3 years
  • PH students- 10 years
  • PH+OBC- 13 years
  • PH+SC/ST- 15 years
  • Commendable sports persons- Up to 05 years (08 years for OBC and 10 years for SC/ST Delhi based students)
  • Widows/ Women Judicially Separated/ Divorced Women and who are not re-married (for Group- C posts)- Up to 35 years (38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST Delhi students)

DSSSB Recruitment Exam 2020 Application Process

The application form of DSSSB 2020 will be available as per the schedule provided above under the ‘Important Dates’ section. Candidates are advised to stay tuned with this article and have a clear idea of the application process for the same. In order to eligible for the exam, a student must follow the basic registration process as under-

  • Open the official portal of DSSSB Recruitment 2020 Exam.
  • New students need to register their entries first, simply by adding personal information and other basic details.
  • After the process of registration re-login into your account and start filling your application form.
  • Once the application form is completed, attach a copy of important documents and pay examination fees through SBI e-pay mode.

DSSSB 2020 Admit Card -

The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board will issue the admit cards at the official website. The schedule for the same has not been released yet. Students can download the admit card from the authorized web portal of DSSSB 2020 exam.

Steps to Download the Admit Card -

Apprentices are advised to follow these below-mentioning steps in order to download the admit card:

  • Open the certified web portal of DSSSB and click on the ‘Generate/ Print e- Admit Card’ link.
  • Now, enter all the asked details (Registration number, DOB, and Security code) and submit it.
  • A new window will appear on your screen, check and download your DSSSB 2020 admit card.

Note: Students are recommended to carry a copy of admit card at the time of examination. As without a copy of admit card, no apprentices are allowed to entering the exam premises.

DSSSB 2020 Result
