About the NATA 2018 Exam

NATA Exam 2018 Eligibility

  • A candidate should have done or appeared for standard 12th or equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
  • Those candidates who have done or appearing for Diploma (with Mathematics as one of the subjects) in any discipline are also eligible to apply for the exam.
  • Those candidates who have passed or appearing for the International Baccalaureate Diploma after 10 years of schooling are also eligible to apply.

NATA Exam 2018 Application Process

The Application Form can be filled online. It can be availed from 18 January 2018 till 30 March 2018.

How To Apply

  • A candidate should visit the official website of the NATA.
  • A candidate should get registered first to get the NATAapplication form.
  • If you are a new candidate, register as the “New Candidate for Registration”.
  • A candidate should fill his/her details like Name, Address, parent details, Email id and Mobile number.
  • Upon registration, a candidate will be given a login id and password.
  • By entering these details, a candidate would be given access to the Application Form.
  • A candidate should fill the application form with all the requisite information like name, parent details, address, mobile number and educational qualification.
  • After filling the application form, a candidate should upload the scanned copies of the photograph, signature, and the thumb impression. The photograph should be in JPEG format. It should be within the 4 – 100 KB in size. Its dimensional size should be between 3.5c.m to 4.5c.m.
  • The signature and thumb impression should be in between 1-30 KB. Its dimensional size should be between 3.5c.m to 1.5c.m.
  • A candidate should also upload the scanned copy of his/her identity card along with the application form. In the form of the identity card following things should be submitted – Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, UID card, PAN Card or12th Admit Card.
  • A candidate should pay the application fee.
  • A candidate is also required to schedule the date and time of the NATA Exam.

Paying the application fee along with application form is important. Without the application fee, no application form will be accepted. Once paid application fee is non-refundable.

Other Details

NATA 2018 Exam Admit Card

Candidates can get their admit card online from 16 April 2018. The admit card contains details about the examination centre, the time and the date of exam and roll number. It is mandatory to bring admit card at the centre of the exam. Without admit card, no candidates will be allowed to take up the NATA Exam. Along with the admit card, it is necessary to carry the identity card also. 

Review of Answer Sheet

The response sheet of candidates will be uploaded on the official website along with the marks secured in Part A (Mathematics + General Aptitude). There will be no review of Part B (drawing test).

NATA 2018 Exam Result Declaration

In order to qualify the NATA Exam, a candidate should score at least 25% marks in Drawing and 25% marks in MCQ. Candidates can see their results online at They can download it from 01 June 2018 by logging-in through their registration credentials. The result will contain the marks obtained by the candidate in each section of the exam and the total marks secured out of 200. The scorecard will also include “Pass/Fail.”

Validity of the NATA 2018 Score Card

The scorecard of NATA 2018 will remain valid for admission to the academic session 2018-19.
