NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) is one of the most reputed entrance exam on national level. It is organized by the Council of Architecture. Many top institutions take students on the basis of the NATA Exams. From 2017 NATA exam will be conducted once in a year.

Eligibility for NATA Exam

There are certain conditions of eligibility which should be fulfilled to apply for the exam.

  • There is no minimum age limit to appear for the NATA 2017 Exam.
  • Candidate should have done his 12th standard or equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subject.
  • Those candidates who have done Diploma in any discipline are also eligible to apply for the exam.
  • Those candidates who have passed the International Baccalaureate Diploma exam are also eligible to apply.

NATA Exam Admission Process

The Application Form can be filled online only. There is no other mode to fill the application form. One can avail application form from January 2nd, 2017 till February 11th, 2017. The filled application form should reach to the specified address before the last date of submission. If any error occurs then candidate could apply for correction when the correction window will open. It will get opened from February 20th to February 24th, 2017. Candidate should keep the print copy of the filled NATA application form for the future reference.

How To Apply

  • Candidate should visit the official website of the NATA.
  • In order to get the application form of NATA candidate should get registered first.
  • If you are a new candidate register as the “New Candidate for Registration”.
  • A candidate should fill all of his necessary details like name, address, parent details, email id and mobile number.
  • Upon registration a candidate would be given a login id and password.
  • By entering these details a candidate would be given an access to the Application Form.
  • A candidate should fill the application form with all the requisite information like name, parent details, address, mobile number and educational qualification.
  • After filling the application form candidate should upload the scanned copy of the photograph, signature and the thumb impression. The photograph should be in JPEG format. It should be within the 4 – 100 KB in size. Its dimensional size should be between 3.5c.m to 4.5c.m.
  • The signature and thumb impression should be in between 1-30 KB. Its dimensional size should be between 3.5c.m to 1.5c.m.
  • A candidate should also upload the scanned copy of the identity card along with the application form. In the form of identity card following things should be submitted – Voter id, Passport, Driving License, UID card, PAN Card or12th Admit Card.
  • Along with the application Form it is important that application fee should also be deposited.
  • A candidate is also required to schedule the date and time of the NATA Exam.
  • Before finally submitting the application form candidate should recheck the application form. The corrections should be made before making final submission of it.

It is important to pay the application fee along with application form. Without the application fee no application form will be accepted. Once paid application fee is non – refundable.

Admit Card NATA 2017 Exam,

Candidate can get their admit card online. It can be availed online from March 26th, 2017. The admit card contains the detail about the centre of examination, time and date of exam and roll number. It is mandatory to bring the admit card at the centre of exam. Without the admit card no candidate will be allowed to take up the NATA Exam. Along with the admit card it is necessary to carry the identity card also.

Result Declaration NATA 2017 Exam,

In order to qualify in the NATA Exam, candidate should score at least 25% marks in Drawing and 25% marks in MCQ. Candidates can see their result online. It can be downloaded online from June 10th, 2017. By entering their details like roll number and name candidate can get their percentile score. They can also get their scorecard out of the total marks. On the basis of score card and percentile score final merit list is prepared.
