The Assam Science and Technology University conducts the Assam CEE 2020 exam every year for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes. The Assam CEE exam is conducted for admission to engineering courses and candidates are tested for the following sections:

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) are asked from each section. The question paper will be in English and Assamese languages. The exam is conducted through OFFLINE mode. The total duration of the exam is 3 hours.

Marking Scheme - 4 marks will be allotted for every correct response and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response. Thus, there is negative marking in the exam.

Assam CEE 2020 Eligibility

Candidates are required to fulfil certain eligibility criteria for appearing in the Assam CEE 2020 exam. Those who are found ineligible will be denied admission. Here are the various eligibility conditions:

Nationality - Candidate should be an Indian national.

Age Limit - The minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years and the maximum age should be 21 years as on 1st August 2020. 3 years relaxation is provided in the upper age limit for the SC/ST candidates.

Qualification - Candidates should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent level of education with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. The minimum aggregate marks secured in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics should be 50% (45% for SC category and 40% for ST category.)

Domicile - Candidates should have domicile of Assam.

The application forms are made available through the online. Candidates must fill the application form within the provided time. They should also make sure that they are eligible for the exam before filling the application form.

Steps to fill the Assam CEE 2020 Application Form -

  • Look for the Assam CEE 2020 exam link and click it.
  • Click the link for filling the online application form.
  • Provide the details asked for to complete the application form. Candidates are required to enter personal details, contact information, academic qualification, etc. They are also required to select the preferred examination centre.
  • Upload scanned images of your photograph and signature as per the prescribed specifications.
  • Check all the information carefully before submitting the application form.
  • On submission of the completed application form, the acknowledgement slip will be generated.

Assam CEE 2020 Admit Card

The Assam CEE 2020 admit card will be released by the Assam Science and Technology University through the online mode. The admit card will be tentatively released in the second week of April 2020. Admit card is mandatory for making entry to the examination hall. Candidates are required to log-in using their application number and password to download the admit card.

Assam CEE 2020 Answer Key

The answer key is released after the examination is conducted. The answer key helps the candidates in estimating their score. Various coaching centres will also release the answer key for the Assam CEE 2020 exam.

Assam CEE 2020 Result

The Assam CEE 2020 result will be tentatively declared in the second week of May 2020. Candidates can access the result through the online mode from the official website. The result comprises of marks obtained by the candidates, merit rank, and qualifying status. Category-wise merit list will also be prepared. The result can be accessed using the roll number and date of birth.

Assam CEE 2020 Counselling

Candidates who qualify the exam are required to appear for the counselling process as per their merit rank. They need to first register for the counselling process. Seats will be allotted as per the preference provided by the candidates, merit rank, and availability of seats. Candidates must report at the allotted college for completing the admission formalities.
