The Airports Authority of India, a statutory body working under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, is a Government of India Public Sector Enterprise, entrusted with the responsibility of creating, maintaining, managing and upgrading civil aviation infrastructure both on the ground and air space level. The statutory body conducts recruitment exams all through the year to recruit and appoint eligible and willing candidates for various posts. AAI Recruitment 2020 Latest Notification -

  • The link to raise objections was activated on 1st April 2021 and closed on 7th April 2021.
  • The Airports Authority of India has invited applications from eligible candidates to apply for the Manager and Executive posts. The Airport Authority has announced to recruit skilled candidates for 368 posts. Eligible candidates can apply for the post through the official site of AAI at aai.aero.
  • The last date to apply for the post was till 29th January 2021. Candidates from the private sector applying for the post of Managers in various disciplines should be drawing a minimum CTC of ₹ 11 Lacs per annum as of the cut-off date. Candidates who have completed graduation and post-graduation can apply for the recruitment examination.

AAI Recruitment Exam 2020-21 Eligibility

AAI will conduct the recruitment exam for eligible manager in the field of Finance, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Technical, Fire Services, Official Language, Human Resources, Electronics and Commercial and for Junior Executive in the field of Air Traffic Control, Executive Fire Services, Airport Operations, Technical, Official Language, Information Technology, Corporate Planning & Management Services, Human Resources and Commercial. Minimum Qualification

Work Experience

Manager (Finance)

The candidates should have complete graduation in Commerce with MBA/ CA/ ICWA full time regular (two years) with specialisation in Finance

Minimum 5 years work experience in Executive Cadre in Finance and Accounts

Manager (Technical)

Should have done B.E. / B. Tech Degree in Automobile or Mechanical

Minimum 5 years work experience in Executive Cadre in Technical field

Manager (Engineering Civil)

B. Tech/ B.E. in Civil

Minimum 5 years work experience in Executive Cadre in Civil Engineering field

Manager (Engineering Electrical)

B. Tech/ B.E. in Electrical

Minimum 5 years work experience in Executive Cadre in Electrical Engineering field

Manager (Official Language)

The candidates must have done PG in Hindi or in English with Hindi or English respectively as a Subject at Degree or PG level, in any other subject with English and Hindi as a compulsory elective subject at Degree Level

The concerned aspirants should showcase experience in translation relating to Glossary and Hindi to English and English to Hindi preferably of Technical or Scientific Literature. They must boast 5 years experience as an Office of Central/ State government including PSU in the field of Raj Bhasha

Manager (Fire Services)

B.E./ B. Tech Degree in Mechanical/ Fire/ Automobile. The candidates must possess a valid heavy transport vehicles license.

Minimum 5 years work experience in Executive Cadre in Fire Services field

Manager (Electronics)

B.E./ B.Tech degree in Telecommunications/ Electronics/ Electrical with specialisations in Electronics

Minimum 5 years work experience in Executive Cadre in Tele Communication and Electronics

Manager (Human Resource)

He should have done graduation and full-time MBA or equivalent (two years) with specialisation in HRM/ HRD/ PM & IR/ Labour Welfare

Relaxation in Age:

If you belong to the following category, you may enjoy upper age limit relaxation. Check details below –

  • Upper Age Limit Relaxation by 10 Years: Candidates belonging to the PWD category and those who are in regular service of the Airports Authority of India.
  • Age Relaxation by 5 Years: Those originally domiciled in J&K during the period from 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989. For this, the candidates have to produce certificates issued by the Sub Divisional Officer/ District Magistrate/ Block Development Officer at the time of document verification and interview.
  • Age Relaxation by 3 Years: OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates would enjoy the age relaxation by three years.
  • Age Relaxation by Ex-Servicemen: Applicable as prescribed by Government of India.

AAI Recruitment Exam 2020-21 Application Process

Willing candidates can apply online through the official website. No other means of submission of applications will be entertained under any circumstances. Interested and eligible applicants can apply for Airports Authority of India (AAI) Recruitment Notification 2020 through the prescribed application format on or before 29th January 2021. Before applying for the vacancy, the person should ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility and other norms mentioned in the Advertisement.

You should have a valid Email-ID, scanned copy of signature and passport size coloured photograph (latest, not more than three months old) in digital formats for uploading in the application.
