UPTET 2018 – Exam Timing Changed for Second Session, Download Admit Card
The Examination Regulatory Authority (ERA), Allahabad has revised the timing for the second session of the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET). The authority has delayed the second session by 30 minutes. The revised timings for the exam is 3 PM to 5:30 PM. Earlier, it was 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is scheduled to be conducted on 18 November 2018. Around 17 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the exam.

The Secretary of ERA, Anil Bhushan, said that the timing has been changed on the request of aspirants who have applied for both the papers of UPTET exam. He said, “They had claimed that it will be difficult for them to reach to another exam centre after the end of the first session and had requested for revising the schedule. To ensure that they can appear in both the exams we have amended the time-table.”
The exam would be held in all the districts of the state. The state government has installed CCTV cameras, deployed special task force, and cyber cell unit to catch the mafia involved in the paper leak through WhatsApp.
UPTET 2018 Admit Card
The admit cards for UPTET 2018 exam has been released on the official website - upbasiceduboard.gov.in. Those candidates who haven’t downloaded the admit card can visit the official website to download the same using the following steps:
- Go to the official website - upbasiceduboard.gov.in
- Click on the link for downloading the admit card on the home-page.
- Enter your registration number and click ‘Proceed’
- Follow the steps to download the admit card.
It is mandatory to carry the admit card to the examination hall.
