UPTET 2018 Admit Card Released at UPBEB Official Website – Steps to Download

Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) has released the admit cards for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test. Candidates who have successfully applied for the exam can download their admit cards/hall tickets from the official website - http://upbasiceduboard.gov.in/. Here are the steps to download the UPTET admit cards:

Steps to Download the UPTET 2017 Admit Cards

  • Go to the official - http://upbasiceduboard.gov.in/.
  • Click on the link for UPTET 2018 Admit Card.
  • Enter your registration number and password to log-in.
  • Your admit card will appear on the screen, save it and take a print out of the same.

If the website cannot be accessed, please wait and try again. Please download the admit card well before time. Make sure that all the details on the admit card are correct. If not, inform the exam conducting authority through the Helpline provided. The details of examination centre are mentioned on the admit card. Carry the admit card to the examination hall. Entry to the examination centre is prohibited without admit card.

UPTET is a qualifying exam for recruiting teachers at primary (classes I to V) and upper-primary (classes VI to VIII) level in government schools across the Uttar Pradesh state. Separate papers are conducted for both the levels and the candidates have the option to appear for both the levels. Both the papers will be conducted on the same day (in different shifts) through offline mode.

UPTET 2018 - Disqualified Candidates

A total of 18,25,036 candidates have applied for the UPTET 2018 exam. Out of these, 44,135 candidates have been disqualified on the basis of duplicate applications and ineligibility. Out of these, 8,606 have been disqualified for not meeting the eligibility criteria.

The secretary of the Examination Regulatory Authority (ERA), Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi, said, out of the 44,135 disqualified candidates; 34,455 have applied for primary level teaching and 9,680 have applied for upper primary schools.
