Only 11% candidates have passed the UPTET Exam 2017 as the results were announced on 15 December 2017.

18 December 2017: The results of Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test or UPTET exam 2017 were announced on 15 December 2017. The candidates can check the results on the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Education Board at the upbasiceduboard.gov.in.

Only 11% of the candidates have passed in the examination while 89% have failed in the eligibility test. The qualified candidates can apply for the written test for the next level. More than 9 lakh students had appeared for the UPTET exam for the year 2017. There were 1634 examination centres in Uttar Pradesh to conduct the examination.

Steps to Check the Result Online:

  1. Visit the official website at the www.upbasiceduboard.gov.in
  2. Now select the link for the 'Click Here for UPTET-2017 Result'
  3. The candidate has to enter the roll number and code in the given fields
  4. The result will be displayed on the screen.
  5. Now download the PDF file of the result and take a print out for the future use.

 The Number of Candidates:

Total number of applicants: 9,76,760

Total number of Primary applicants: 3,49,192

Total number of Upper-primary applicants: 6,27,568

Teacher Eligibility Test or TEST is an entrance test for the state level teacher. For some states, it is mandatory to qualify the state level teaching entrance exam for the government teaching job.
