PTET 2020 Postponed – Important Update
The Rajasthan PTET 2020 examination was scheduled to be held on May 10 at various centres in all district headquarters in the state. However, PTET 2020 examination has been postponed to an undetermined date due to the coronavirus pandemic. A new date for conducting PTET 2020 examination will be announced after the end of the lockdown.

Rajasthan PTET 2020 Examination – Data of Applied Candidates
Every year, the Government Dungar College, Bikaner conducts the Pre Teacher Eligibility Test (PTET) for admission to BEd courses. As per the updates, a total of 3,27,270 candidates have applied for the two-year BA/Bed course, while 153,696 have applied for four year BA Bed/BSc Bed course. Thus, a total of 4,80,926 candidates have applied for the exam.
Those who clear the PTET 2020 examination will call to register for the 2020-21 counselling sessions. Applicants will require to fill in the college of their choice and based on merit and availability seats will be allotted through counselling sessions. The counselling sessions are expected to be held in June-July, however, no official confirmation has been announced yet.
PTET 2020 Examination Pattern
The PTET 2020 will consist of four sections —teaching attitude and aptitude test, mental ability, general awareness, and language proficiency (Hindi or English). There will be 50 multiple choice questions asked from each of the section. Candidates who got the right answer will be benefited with three marks. The complete duration of the exam is three hours. The exam will be held offline and candidates will have to encircle the right option.
