New Delhi/02.08.2018: The allotment results of NEET second round counselling for All India Quota seats have been released by Medical Counselling Committee. The candidates who couldn’t get their names in the first allotment list are now able to check the official website of MCC (https://mcc.nic.in/UGCounselling/home/homepage) for the result of Round 2.
Note: “Candidates, whose category or quota has been changed in the same institution and subject, are required to get an online generated relieving letter and get admitted on the changed category or changed quota seat from the allotted institution. Such candidates must get fresh online generated admission letter for the changed category or quota seat otherwise the allotted seat will be cancelled due to non-admission”.
The authority has allotted same subjects or courses, college and category to the candidates, in which they had done the choice filling during the earlier rounds.
Earlier, the counselling process was put on hold after the orders from the Bombay High Court and Madras High Court. The process was re-started after the orders from the apex court i.e. the Supreme Court of India. Candidates can now get the allotment letters along with the result. They are available on the web portal of MCC. Further, those who get the seats allocated in the second round can’t vacate them. In other words, once the seats are allotted to the candidates, the latter can neither leave nor resign them under any circumstance. Seats that remain unfulfilled will automatically be transferred to the state bodies for allotment in the state quota counselling.
