UPSC NDA and NA (I) Examination 2020 – Official Notification Released

The official notification for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I) for the 2020 year has been released on the official website on 8th January 2020. Candidates who are interested in applying for the exam can visit the official website to check the notification.

UPSC NDA & NA Examination (I) 2020 - Important Dates

Here are the dates of important exam events as per the official annual calendar 2020:

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will accept the NDA application forms only through the online mode. The examination is conducted for admission to Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy for the 144^th course and the 106th course at Naval Academy.

UPSC NDA & NA – Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the exam, candidates must make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria. Here are the eligibility requirements as per last year’s official notification. No changes are expected in the conditions till now.

• The candidate must be unmarried male.
• A citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet and those who have migrated from Sri Lanka, Burma, Pakistan, East African countries, or Vietnam.
• As per NDA & NA I 2020 notification, candidates must be born not earlier than 2nd July 2000 and not later than 1st July 2003.
• Educational Qualification –
  • For Air Force and Naval Wings – 12th class pass or equivalent examination conducted by a recognized board.
  • For Army Wings – 12th class or equivalent examination conducted by a recognized board.
• Candidates must meet the physical standards as specified in the official notification.

UPSC conducts the NDA & NA exam twice a year. The official notification for the NDA & NA exam (I) 2020 has been released on 08^th January 2020 and the application submission link will remain available till 28th January 2020. The NDA & NA (I) exam is going to be held on 19^th April 2020 (Sunday).
