Indian Navy Sailor Recruitment - MR Admit Card 2020 Available for October Batch
Indian Navy has released the Admit Cards for the Matric Recruit (MR) examination on 28th January 2020 for the October 2020 batch. Candidates who have applied for the exam can download their admit cards from the official website - joinindiannavy.gov.in. The last date for downloading the admit card is 7th February 2020. Candidates can download the Indian Navy MR admit card using their registration ID and password. The exam is conducted for unmarried male candidates for 400 vacancies of Sailors post. The selection is done through a computer-based examination followed by a Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Medical examination. State-wise merit list is prepared based on the candidate’s performance in the computer-based exam.
The Indian Navy has also released the Admit Card for the Artificer Apprentice (AA) and Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR) on 24th January at the official website.
Steps for Downloading the Indian Navy MR Admit Card 2020
- Visit the official website - https://www.joinindiannavy.gov.in/.
- Click on the ‘Login’ option at the top.
- Enter your email address and password.
- Click on the ‘Login’ button.
- Click on the admit card option.
- The admit card will appear on the screen.
- Check all the details and download the Indian Navy MR admit card.
- Take a print of the same.
It is mandatory to carry the admit card along with an ID proof to the examination center. The Computer-based test for the Indian Navy MR will be conducted in February 2020.
Indian Navy MR 2020 - Exam Pattern
50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) are asked in the computer-based exam from the following subjects:
- Science & Mathematics
- General Knowledge
The duration of the exam will be 30 minutes. The question paper will be in both Hindi and English languages. The questions will be as per the class 10th syllabus. Each question will be of 1 mark and there will be negative marking for the wrong answer. For each wrong answer, one-fourth (0.25) marks will be deducted as penalty. Candidates must qualify both the sections separately. The minimum qualifying marks are determined by the Navy.
Those who will qualify the computer-based test are required to appear for the Physical Fitness Test. The batch will start in October 2020. For all the updates related to the exam, candidates must keep a check on the official website.
