Admit Cards of Indian Navy AA and SSR Released for August Batch 2018

Admit cards for Indian Navy AA and SSR have been released at the official website. Candidates will be selected for the August 2018 batch.

15 February 2018: The Indian Navy has issued the admit cards for the Indian Navy Artificer Apprentice (AA) and Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) 2018 on its official website. The applicants for the examination are advised to download the admit cards only from the official website.

Steps to Download the Indian Navy AA and SSR Admit Cards

  • Go to the Indian navy official website; https://www.joinindiannavy.gov.in/
  • Click on ‘Login’ link at the top right corner of the home page.
  • Enter your email address (used at the time of application), password and text written in the image to Log In.
  • Your admit card will appear, download it and take a print out.

Admit Cards/Call-up letters are sent only to eligible shortlisted candidates. It will indicate the date, time and place of the examination along with other details.

Selection Procedure

The selection is done in three stages:

  • Written Test
  • Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
  • Medical Test

The exam is tentatively scheduled in the month of February/March 2018. Generally, the result of the written test is declared on the same day. After that the qualified candidates are permitted to appear for the PFT.

Only those who qualify PFT stage are allowed to appear in the Medical Test. There are different medical standards for different entry levels. The medical examination is conducted by authorised military doctors.

Candidates who are declared temporarily medically unfit can opt for specialist reviews from the specified Military Hospital within a maximum duration of 21 days.

For candidates who are declared permanently unfit in the Medical test, there is a provision of appealing for specialist opinion in a Military Hospital within 21 days of time on payment of rupees 40. Make payment through Military Receivable Order (MRO).

Merit List for Indian Navy AA and SSR

Merit list of qualified candidates (who have cleared all three stages) will be prepared at Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence (Navy), New Delhi. Of this, a centre-wise list of selected candidates will be published at their respective Recruitment Centres.
