IIT Recruitment! IIT Bombay Seeks Application for Non-Teaching Posts; Apply before 27 June

IIT Bombay seeks applications for Junior Administrative Assistant and Administrative Superintendent posts. Last date to apply is 27 June.

New Delhi/ 18.06.2018: As per the recent notification released by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay on its official website, the organisation is going to recruit 41 candidates for non-teaching posts. The notification says that the applications are sought for Junior Administrative Assistant and Administrative Superintendent posts. The application process has already begun on the official website of IIT Bombay. Interested candidates can apply for the same before June 27. They must possess the requisite qualification mentioned by the Institution.

Vacancies Details:

The application process has already begun. The last date to apply for the posts is June 27. Candidates must remember that the posts would initially be on a contract for three years. Those who perform extraordinarily will be offered a substantive post once the contract is expired. As per the job notification, 'All posts would be initially on a contract for 3 years. The performance of the selected/appointed staff member(s) shall be assessed before the expiry of their contract and only those found suitable will be offered a substantive post after completion of 3 years' service on contract. Appointment of staff members on contract who are not found suitable for the substantive post shall be terminated on completion of the contract period'.

Moreover, candidates who will receive an extension will be placed under Level 7 pay band (44900 - 142400). This is certainly a handsome amount.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates need to possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent certificate from a recognised university.
• They must have the certificate from any stream with four years experience. For example, if a candidate is pursuing a Master’s Degree, the duration of the course will be counted as experience.

• Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria for applying for the post.
• Age relaxation would be as per the norms of the Institute.
• If a candidate desires to apply for multiple posts, he is required to apply online for each post separately.
• ₹ 50/- for general category candidates, while no application fee is imposed on applicants belonging to SC/St/PWD/Women.
