NEET 2018 Counselling – DMER Maharashtra Released the First Selection List for MBBS/BDS Admissions

DMER Maharashtra has released the first selection list of MBBS and BDS admissions under NEET 2018.

06 July 2018: The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Maharashtra has released the first selection list for admission to MBBS and BDS courses offered at Government/Government Aided/Unaided Private Medical and Dental colleges in Maharashtra. The selection list was published on 4th July 2018 after 08.00 PM. Candidates can access the selection list from the official website.

Steps to access the NEET UG 2018 First Selection List of MBBS/BDS Courses

  • Go to the official website - http://www.dmer.org.
  • Find ‘NEET-UG-2018-First Selection List of MBBS/BDS Courses-Dated 04/07/2018’ link under the ‘Notifications’ section.
  • A PDF will open including candidates’ AIR, name, and allotted college code.
  • Find your name in the list to check the college allotted to you.

The seat allotment has started form AIR 7 and concluded at AIR 754916. Candidates who have been allotted a seat are required to join their respective colleges till 12 July 2018 (05.00 PM). The last date to fill the status retention form is also 12th July.

Selected candidates are now required to submit their original documents and pay the requisite fee within the stipulated time otherwise the allotment will stand cancelled. Eligibility of the candidate will also be checked as per the NEET 2018 information brochure.

Meanwhile, DMER has cancelled the seated allotted to PWD candidates in the first selection list as names of some candidates belonging to PWD category were not included in the list. Fresh re-allotment of seats for PWD candidates was done and the new list was published on the official website on 5th July. Such candidates are also required to join the allotted colleges till 12th July.

As per another official notice, “The selection list of remaining Health science Courses (i.e. BAMS /BHMS/ BUMS/ BPTh/ BOTh/ BASLP/ B.P&O/ B.Sc.Nursing) will be declared in due course after receipt of the necessary permission/consent for affiliation from respective Councils/ MUHS, Nashik/Central Government/ State Government.”
