Bihar B.Ed CET 2021 Eligibility

Candidates who meet the following conditions are eligible for the common entrance test:

  • Candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s (10+2+3) and/ or Master’s degree in Science/ Commerce/ Social Science/ Humanity with a minimum of 50% marks.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology with specialisation in Mathematics and Science with at least 55% marks or any other equivalent qualification.

For Shiksha Shastri B.Ed. Programme

  • Candidates with a minimum of 50% mark either in the Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) with Sanskrit (as the main subject) and Master’s degree in Sanskrit/ Acharya in traditional Sanskrit Shastra with at least 50% marks or any equivalent qualification.

Bihar B.Ed CET 2021 Application Process

The online application process for the Bihar B.Ed common entrance test started on 11th April 2021. Candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully and submit the application forms before the last date i.e. 5th June 2021. Here is the detailed process for filling up the application form.

The application form can be completed in three steps mentioned below:

  • Online Registration
  • Filling the Application Form
  • Fee Payment and Printout of the Confirmation page.

Online Registration

  • Visit the official website and click on the ‘Apply for Entrance Test’ button on the home page.
  • Read the instructions carefully and click the ‘Registration for New User Account’ button.
  • Enter details such as name, email ID, password, etc.
  • OTPs will be sent to your email ID and mobile number for the creation of a new account.
  • Upload the scanned images of the applicant’s passport size photograph and signature. The scanned images must be in JPG format and the size should be between 20 to 50 KB.
  • After the registration is complete, click on the Sign-Up button.
  • Login using your ID and password.

Complete the Application Form

  • After login, complete the application process with details such as Father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, category, etc.
  • Mention the identity proof number. The identity proof can be any one of the Aadhaar Card/ Driving Licence/ Voter ID Card/ Passport Number.
  • Provide the marks obtained in Matriculation, Graduation, Post-Graduation, etc.
  • Choose the exam cities. You can give three preferences for the exam cities.
  • Accept the declaration and ‘Submit’ the details.

Fee Payment and Printout of Confirmation Page

  • After submitting the details, you will be redirected to the fee payment page. If you want to make changes to the application details, do it before the fee payment using the ‘Preview’ button. No changes can be made after the fee payment.
  • Make the fee payment using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking/ Payment Wallet.
  • After successful fee payment, the complete application form will appear on the screen.
  • Take a print of the application form. Do not send the hard copy to the authorities.
