UGC NET Exam

The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test, also known as UGC NET or NET, is one of the most sought-after entrance examinations in the country that determines the eligibility of the candidates for university and college-level lectureship. The exam is conducted to assess the “eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professional only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian Universities and Colleges”.

Note: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), which was conducting the NET exam on behalf of the University Grants Commission, is no longer bestowed with the responsibility. As of now, the National Testing Agency also known as NTA has taken up the authority to conduct UGC NET Exam 2019 twice in a year- June and December.

As per the officials, NTA is all set to conduct UGC NET 2019 June Exam on June 20th, 21th and June 24th to 28th in two different shifts- Morning and Evening. Applicants can download their respective NET 2019 June Admit Card from May 27th onwards. In order to download the admit card, students have to visit the official portal i.e. ntanet.nic.in to access the document.

This year, the NET will be conducted at 263 exam centres all over India.
