Sikkim Manipal University Distance Education: Technical education courses, admission procedure and fee structure

The Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal or MIT, Manipal offers bachelor and masters program in engineering and technology as their on-campus program. MIT comes under the deemed university Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) and these courses are really helpful for students to shape up their career.

Master of Computer Application (MCA) degree

• Program Name - MCA distance learning Program
• Eligibility – Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University, with Maths / Statistics as one of the subject at 10+2 or at Graduation level. Candidates with prior work experienced will be preferred
• Course Fee per semester - ₹ 18,250/-
• Exam Fee – Included in the semester fee

Master of Science (Information Technology) [M.Sc. (IT)] degree

• Program Name - M.Sc. (IT) distance learning Program
• Eligibility - Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University. Candidates with prior work experienced will be preferred
• Course Fee per semester - ₹ 19,000/-
• Exam Fee - Included in the semester fee

What is the procedure to take admission in any of the above program?

Candidates, who are seeking admission in any of these courses; they need to apply online with the help of the official portal. You can follow these quick steps to get admission in your desirable course.

• You need to log on to the website www.smude.edu.in and request for the soft copy of the prospectus by providing your contact information
• And, then you need to submit an online application form for admission
• Now, simply send the hard copy of the same along with the photocopies of required documents to the University for the Confirmation of admission
• You can check status of your application from website  http://smude.edu.in/myzone¸once get the confirmation, then you can start your course
