RITES Recruitment 2019 – Apply for Graduate Engineer Trainees through GATE Score

RITES Ltd., a Mini Ratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, has invited online applications for Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs). Candidates can apply for the post through their GATE 2018 and GATE 2019 scores. The application will be accepted only through the official website – ritesltd.com.

Steps to apply for the RITES GETs through GATE Score

The online application process has started on the official website from 19th March and will continue till 16th April 2019.

  • Visit the RITES official website.
  • Go to the ‘Career’ menu and click on the ‘Online Registration’ option.
  • Select the vacancy name (Graduate Engineer Trainee) from the drop-down as per your branch, post applied for, vacancy type, and other details. Make sure enter an active email-id as the log-in details will be sent at the same.
  • ‘Submit’ the details.
  • Check your email-ID for log-in details and click on the ‘Applicant Login’ link on the ‘Online Registration’ page.
  • Log-in using your details and complete the application form.
  • Upload your photograph, CV, and make fee payment.
  • Take a print of the completed application form after successful payment of the fee.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit – The minimum age of the candidate should be 21 years and maximum age should be 30 years as on 1st March 2019.

Educational Qualification – Passed full-time BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) degree in the respective discipline and should have cleared GATE 2018 or GATE 2019 exam.

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their GATE score. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview round and document verification process. The details of the documents required to be submitted will be mentioned in the call letter. The weightage distribution for the final merit list is as under:

  • GATE Marks (out of 100) – 75%
  • Interview – 25%

Candidates will have the option to appear for the interview in Hindi or English language. The official notification states, “Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their being found medically fit in the Medical Examination to be conducted as per RITES Rules and Standards of Medical Fitness for the relevant post.”
