CSIR UGC NET 2019 – Online Application Process Started for June Session Exam

The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) has extended the last date for the online application process for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET). Candidates can now apply till 22nd March 2019. The registration process has started on 25th February 2019. All eligible and interested candidates can apply for the exam through the official website – csirhrdg.res.in. Candidates can apply for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or Lectureship or both. In case the candidate is found to be over-age for JRF, he/she will be considered only for the lectureship post.

Steps to fill the CSIR UGC NET 2019 Application Form

The application process has started on 25th February and candidates can apply till 22nd March 2019.

  • Go to the CSIR official website.
  • Click on ‘Apply Online’ link in the CSIR-UGC NET June 2019 section on the home-page.
  • Click on the ‘Register Here’ link on the left side of the page and complete the registration process by providing the details asked for.
  • On successful registration, log-in details will appear on the screen.
  • Now click on the ‘Login’ link.

As per the official instructions, “In order to avoid last minute rush, candidates are advised to apply early enough. CSIR will not be responsible for network problem or any other such type of problems.”

Application Fee -

No application will be complete without fee payment. The application fee can be paid only through Net Banking or Debit Card or Credit Card. Here are the fee details:

CSIR UGC NET exam will be a single paper test with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of 200 marks. Candidates are required to answer the questions in the language they have opted in the application form.

Who can apply?

Candidates with minimum 55% marks (for General and OBC) and 50% marks (for SC/ST and PwD) in M.Sc. or equivalent degree/MBBS/B.Tech/B.Pharma/BE/BS (4 years)/integrated BS-MS.
