Andhra Pradesh ITI Admission 2022 Pattern & Syllabus

The admission is done strictly on a merit basis and there is no entrance exam for the admission. Thus, there is no information for the exam pattern and syllabus section.

Educational Qualification

Must have passed class 8th or 10th from a recognised State or Central board.

Age Criteria

Candidates must be between 14 to 25 years of age. Upper age relaxation of three years will be provided to OBC/ SC/ ST category candidates.

Interested candidates can apply for the admission process through online mode. It is advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for admissions.

Steps for Filling the Application Form

  • Visit the official at https://iti.nic.in/.
  • Click on the ‘Apply for ITI’ link.
  • Enter the details for registration.
  • After registration is complete, log in using the registration ID and password.
  • Enter the remaining personal details, address details, and qualification details.
  • Provide the preferences for ITIs and trades.
  • Upload the scanned images for the applicant's photograph and signature.
  • Make the application fee payment.
  • Submit the application form and take a print of the same for future reference.

AP ITI Merit List 2022

  • The Andhra Pradesh ITI merit list will be released online at the official website.
  • The merit list is prepared based on the marks secured in the qualifying exam.
  • Candidates can check their names on the merit list.
  • Those who make it to the merit list are required to take part in the counselling process

AP ITI Counselling Process

  • Those whose names appear in the merit list are required to participate in the counselling process.
  • The schedule for the counselling will be released on the official website.
  • Candidates must report for counselling as per the schedule. Seat allotment is done based on merit rank.
  • Candidates must report at the allotted institute for document verification and completing other admission formalities.
  • Candidates are also required to pay counselling fees - ₹ 700 for OC/ BC candidates and ₹ 400 for SC/ ST candidates.

Question 1: Is there any difference between ITI and Polytechnic?

Yes. The basic difference is that ITI offers certificate courses while Polytechnic offers diploma courses. 

Question 2: Is ITI only for technical/ engineering courses?

No. Non-engineering courses are also offered through ITI.

Question 3: When will be the Andhra Pradesh ITI merit list released?

The merit list release date is not announced yet.

Question 4: Will I get admission to Government ITI colleges through the AP ITI admission process?

Yes. The admission process covers both Government and Private institutions. 

Question 5: What if I don’t report to the allotted college on the scheduled date?

The allotted seat will be cancelled and will be allotted to another candidate.
