
Delhi ITI Admission 2022 - Important Dates, Eligibility, Application, and Admission Process
The Department of Training & Technical Education, Government of NCT of Delhi, conducts the Delhi ITI admission process for admission of eligible candidates in one/two-year full-time certificate courses in various Engineering and non-Engineering trades. These courses are offered at institutes affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT)/ State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT), Delhi. Counselling Schedule
As per the official notification, the schedule for four rounds of the counselling process is released. However, more rounds of counselling may be conducted if the seats remain vacant. Also, there will not be any offline round of counselling.

Delhi ITI Admission 2022 Pattern & Syllabus
The Delhi ITI admissions are done based on the merit prepared by considering the marks in the qualifying exam. Thus, there is no entrance exam conducted for admission. So, there is no exam pattern and syllabus.
Delhi ITI Admission 2022 Eligibility
Candidates are required to meet the eligibility conditions before applying for admission. Here are the details.
Nationality
Candidates must be Indian nationals.
Age Limit
The lower age limit is 14 years as on 1st August 2021. There is no upper age limit.
Qualification
Must have passed class 8th or 10th (varies as per courses) or it's equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum 40% marks. Candidates must have studied Science and Mathematics in the qualifying exam. Those appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to appear for the exam.
NOTE: Candidates must check the trade-wise educational qualification in the official prospectus.
Physical Fitness
Candidates are also required to submit a Medical Fitness Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner at the time of admission. The format for the certificate is provided in the prospectus.
Delhi ITI Admission 2022 Application Process
Candidates are required to register themselves online for the ITI admission 2021. Do take note of the deadlines and complete the process before the same. Here is the detailed process.
Documents Required for Registration
Coloured scanned copies of the following documents are required to be uploaded at the time of registration. All images must be in PDF format and of size 50 KB to 200 KB. Scan images must be taken from the original document.
- 8th or 10th class mark sheet/ certificate
- Coloured photograph (5.5cm x 7.5 cm; size: 20 KB to 50 KB)
- Undertaking by candidate (PDF/ JPG/ JPEG; size: 20 KB to 200 KB)
- Category certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC+NCL/ EWS)
- Subcategory certificate (J&K, NCC, PWD, Defense Personnel, Staff Ward, Delhi Government Employee) (if applicable)
- Certificate from Delhi Government registered orphanage
- Certificate from BDO stating that school and residence of the candidate is located in a rural area (if applicable)
Registration Fee
The registration fee is to be paid using a credit card/ debit card/ internet banking. Candidates must note that the application fee is non-refundable.

Steps for Delhi ITI 2021 Registration
Candidates can do the registration for Delhi ITI admission 2021 following the steps provided below:
- Visit the official website https://itidelhiadmissions.nic.in/.
- Click on the ‘Registration and Choice Filling’ button.
- Click on the ‘New Candidate Registration' button.
- Read the declaration and click on ‘I Agree’ to proceed to the registration process.
- Fill in the registration form with details such as name, father’s name, mother’ name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, choose a password, and ‘Submit’ the information.
- After successful registration, an application number will be generated.
- Sign-in again using the application number and password.
- Complete the remaining details in the registration form.
- Upload the required documents.
- Make registration fee payments to complete the process.

Delhi ITI 2021 - Admission Process
After the online registration is complete, the admission process is done in the following stages:

Online Verification
The official cross-checked the information mentioned in the registration form with the documents uploaded. Candidates are intimated about any discrepancies (if found) via SMS/ E-mail. Candidates can check their verification status after the verification process is complete.
Choice Filling
After the verification, candidates are required to fill their ITI trade choices within the given time. It is also important to ‘lock’ the filled choices in order to complete the choice filling process.
Rank Generation and Objection Filling
After the choice filling, the rank list is displayed online. Candidates can check their rank and other details. The provision for raising objection is also provided if any details are found incorrect.
Counselling
After the display of the rank list, the counselling process is conducted where seats are allotted and candidates are required to report as per the allotted seat and submit the fee.
Delhi ITI Admission 2021 Merit List
Delhi ITI merit list is released online on the official website. The final rank list will be displayed on 6th September 2021. The merit list will be prepared based on the marks secured in the qualifying exam. The merit list contains the names of only the qualified candidates. Such candidates are required to appear for the counselling round.
Delhi ITI Admission 2021 Counselling
As mentioned above, qualified candidates are required to appear for the counselling process to complete the admission formalities. The counselling process involves choice filling, seat allotment, and fee payment. Seats will not be allotted to those who don't participate in the counselling process.
