AICTE GPAT Pharmacy Exam Notification

Those students who want to settle their career early, right after completing their 12th standard with science subjects, can do so by opting for B.Pharmacy course. About Pharmacy Entrance Exam

There are various national and state level exams to get admission into some of the top ranked Pharmacy colleges and Institutions.

GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) which is conducted on national level. Some other state level entrance exams are -TS EAMCET (Telengana Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical common entrance test), AP EAMCET, MH EAMCET etc.

Eligibility for Pharmacy Course

  • Candidate should be a citizen of India.
  • Candidate should have done the B.Pharmacy course of 4 years duration from the AICTE recognized institution or college.
  • Those candidates who are appearing in the final year of B.Pharma are also eligible to apply for the exam.
  • There is no age limit for appearing in the exam.

Pharmacy Course Admission Process

The application form of GPAT can be availed online only. It cannot be availed through offline mode. Candidate should fill the online application form in three stages. The registration has begun on October 10th, 2016 and it has closed on December 25th, 2016. The application form should be filled before the last date of the application.

How To Apply

  • A candidate can apply online for the GPAT 2017 Exam.
  • He should visit the official website of the GPAT. First of all a candidate should get registered for the exam by providing his email id, name and contact number. Upon registration a candidate is sent login details on his email id. A candidate should keep his login id till the completion of the selection process because all important communication with the candidate is done through the email id.
  • With the help of login id candidate can access the application form of the exam. A candidate should fill all the necessary column of the application form. He should provide details about his educational background, address and parent’s detail.
  • Along with the application form a candidate should give the scanned copies of his photo and signature.
  • Candidate should also pay the application fee for the exam. The application fee can be paid online through Net Banking, Credit or Debit card.

Admit Card

Candidate can download their admit card from the official website of the GPAT by entering their registration number and name. Admit card is also sent on the registered email id of the candidates. It should be noted that no hard copy or printed copy of the admit card will be sent on the residential address of the candidate. It is important to carry the admit card at the centre of examination as without admit card candidate will not be allowed to take his exam.

Result

Result was declared on February 8th, 2017. All India merit list was prepared on the basis of the candidate performance in the exam. A candidate is called for counselling and admission on the basis of his rank in the All India merit list.
