Once a year, the Staff Selection Commission of India (SSC) commences applications for the various vacancies of Central Police Organization (CPO) in order to complete the recruitment process of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police, Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF, Central Armed Police Forces, and other Posts. This National level exam is conducted for a large number of aspirants of the country who wishes to join these central government-aided organizations and secure their livelihood.

SSC CPO 2022 Latest Notification -

  • SSC CPO 2022 exam will be conducted from 9th to 11th September 2022. 
  • SSC CPO 2022 Application Form will be released on 10th August 2022. The last date for the same is 30th August 2022.
  • SSC CPO 2022 exam will be conducted in the month of November 2022.
  • The commission released the result for SSC CPO Paper-II 2020 on 6th January 2022.

SSC CPO Exam 2021-22 Pattern & Syllabus

SSC CPO 2022 Exam Pattern

Apprentices have to successfully clear all 5 stages of the SSC CPO 2022 Exam for their selection. The 5 stages of the exam are- Paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II, Detailed Medical Examination, and Document Verification Round. Scholastic young apprentices who are willing to connect with Staff Selection Commission must have to qualify the bar set by the organizing committee of SSC at various stages of the exam.

Paper-1 & Paper-2 (Written Exam)

Tier 1 and Tier 2 of the SSC CPO Bharti exam is a computer-based test that follows objective-type questions in English and Hindi language only. Students have to clear all the stages of the examination in order to get an opportunity to work under the guidance of the Staff Selection Commission of India.

Highlights of Paper 1 and Paper 2

  • Questions of both the exams will be asked via online mode.
  • The complete exam papers of Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be arranged in both English and Hindi language. Students can choose their language as per their preferences.
  • Apprentices can get a +1 mark for every correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Physical Endurance Test (PET) (For all posts)

For Male category candidates:

  1. 100 meters race in 16 seconds
  2. 1.6 Km race in 6.5 minutes
  3. Long Jump: 3.65 meters in 3 chances
  4. High Jump: 1.2 meters in 3 chances
  5. Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 meters in 3 chance

For Female category candidates:

  1. 100 meters race in 18 seconds
  2. 800 meters race in 4 minutes
  3. Long Jump: 2.7 meters in 3 chances
  4. High Jump: 0.9 meters in 3 chances

Important Note: The minimum near vision of the participant should be N6 (better eye) and N9 (worse eye). The minimum distant vision of the fellow must be 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye).

SSC CPO Exam 2021-22 Eligibility

Candidates willing to join and connect with SSC CPO Recruitment 2022 must fulfill the prescribed eligibility norms guided by the Staff Selection Commission of India. The detailed stricture of eligibility criteria are as follows:

Nationality

  • Those who belong to any nationality including Nepalese, Indian, Bhutanese, and Tibetan Refugee (who came over to India prior 1st January 1962 to settle permanently in India) can apply for the examination.
  • Those who come under PIO or persons of Indian Origin and migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, and East African Countries to settle permanently in India are also eligible to apply.

  • The minimum age limit for the exam- is 20 years
  • The maximum age limit for the exam- is 25 years

  • Applicants should have completed their Graduation degree in any discipline from the Indian recognized university or board.

SSC CPO Selection Process 2022

Qualified students will be shortlisted on the following basis:

  1. On the basis of the apprentice’s performance in Paper 1, they will go for Physical Endurance Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) Test. All students require to qualifying the PET/PST test in order to recruit for the next round, however, Ex-Serviceman candidates are not required to qualify for the PET round.
  2. Students who qualify for the PET or PST test will have an opportunity to sit in Paper 2 which will be conducted via online mode.
  3. After this, qualifying participants of Paper 2 will call for a Medical Examination Exam. Candidates who successfully completed the Medical Examination round will go for a Document Verification Round, which will be conducted at the premises of SSC.
  4. The final selection will be made on the basis of aggregate marks achieved by the participant n Paper 1 and Paper 2.
  5. Those scholars who completed all five stages will continue to work under the Staff Selection Commission of India.

SSC CPO Admit Card 2022

Candidates can download the SSC CPO admit cards from the authorized website of conducting body of SSC. Apprentices have to check and download the admit card from the website by itself, as the commission does not send any hard copy of the admit card to the participant’s resident.

SSC CPO Results 2022

The SSC CPO Results for Paper-I will be released on the official site. The result will be released as PDF files containing the list of qualified candidates. Participating fellows can check and download their results on the official website. Here are the steps to check the result:

  • Visit the official website https://ssc.nic.in/.
  • Click on the ‘Results’ option at the top of the home page.
  • Now select the ‘CAPF’ tab.
  • Click on the pdf link under the ‘Result’ column in front of the result.

SSC CPO Exam Frequently Asked Questions

The examination for Paper 1 will be held between the 9th to 11th of November 2022.

The SSC CPO will be conducted for the posts of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police, Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF, Central Armed Police Forces, and other Posts.

The candidate applying for the exam should hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

The participant should be between the age group of 20-25 years of age.
