PESSAT exam is conducted for admission to various courses offered at the PES University. We are covering the B.Tech. course and the frequently asked questions related to the same in the section here.

Question 1: What is PESSAT?

PESSAT is Peoples Education Society Scholastic Aptitude Test conducted for admission to B.Tech. courses offered by the PES University.

Question 2: When will the PESSAT exam registration begin?

The online registration process for the B.Tech. course has started on 4th October 2019.

Question 3: Can I make corrections in the PESSAT application form?

Yes. You need to send a mail at [email protected] along with your application number and the corrections required to be made.

Question 4: When will the PESSAT 2020 exam take place?

In the first week of May 2020 (tentative).

Question 5: Is it necessary to book a slot for the PESSAT exam?

Yes. Without slot booking, you will not be able to take a print of the admit card.

Question 6: How many numbers of attempts are allowed for PESSAT exam?


Question 7: Is there any negative marking in the PESSAT exam?

Yes, there is negative marking in the PESSAT exam for B.Tech. courses.

Question 8: Is PESSAT score accepted at any other institute?

No. PESSAT scores are accepted only at PES University campuses at Ring Road, Electronic City, and Hanumanth Nagar.

Question 9: Can my friend/ sibling/ parent appear for the counselling process on my behalf?

Yes. For this, you need to download the authorization letter from the official website, carry it to the University campus and get approval. One of the candidate’s parents or guardian can attend the counselling. Get approval on the authorization letter before the counselling process.

Question 10: When will the course commence at PES University?

The course will commence from the first Monday of August 2020.
