Final Result for SSC MTS Exam 2016 – Find Simple Steps to Check

SSC MTS exam 2016 result will be released soon on the official website of the Staff Selection Commission. Find steps to check the same.

05 April 2018: The final result of SSC MTS exam 2016 is expected to release on 27 April 2018. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will declare the Multi-Tasking Non-Technical Staff Recruitment exam result on its official website.

How to Check SSC MTS Final Result 2016?

• Visit the official website; http://ssc.nic.in/
• Click on ‘Results’ tab on the home-page.
• A pop-up will appear, select the SSC MTDS exam.
• Now click on the PDF under result column.
• PDF will display the result.
• Download the result and take a print out.

SSC MTS 2016 Paper II was conducted on 28 January 2018. The final result has been declared on the basis of candidates’ performance in Paper I and Paper II.

Selection Procedure

As per the official notice; "Candidates for each State/ UT will be finally selected based on their performance in Paper-I, subject to their meeting basic qualifying standards fixed in Paper-II." 

The commission has conducted the Paper I for the post of MTS from 16 September to 31 October 2017 through online mode. The result of Paper I was declared on 15 January 2018. Further, the paper II was conducted on 28 January 2018 for candidates who have qualified the first paper. It was a descriptive paper of 50 marks designed for testing the elementary language skills of the candidates. The paper was of qualifying nature.

Exam Cancelled due to Paper Leak

Initially, the paper-I was scheduled for 20 April, 14 May, 28 May, 05 June, and 11 June but was cancelled due to paper leak. It was found that the question paper and answer keys were circulated through social media before the exam.
