Indian Army Recruitment 2019 Permanent Commission - Registration Link is Active

Indian Army has invited online applications for the recruitment of candidates for permanent commission in the Indian Army. Candidates who have passed class 12th are eligible to apply for the recruitment. The online application process has started on 15th October 2019. Candidates can apply for the recruitment till 13th November 2019. The application will be accepted only through the online mode. Candidates must make sure that they meet all the eligibility conditions before applying for the exam. The course will commence in July 2020.

Steps to apply for the Indian Army Recruitment 2019

  • Visit the official website -  www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
  • Click on the link to apply for the recruitment.
  • Enter the particulars asked for to complete the application form. Do read all the terms and conditions carefully before submitting the form.
  • After the final submission, a confirmation will appear.
  • Take a print out of the filled-in application form. The filled-in application form will be available 30 minutes after the closing of the application process.

Note: Changes in the application form will be allowed only until the application window is open. No changes will be allowed once the application process closes.

Indian Army Recruitment 2019 - Eligibility

Candidates who have passed class 12th examination or equivalent with minimum aggregate marks 70% in Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics from a recognised board are eligible for the exam.

The minimum age limit should be 16 ½ years and the maximum should be 19 ½ years on the first day of the commencement of the course. In other words, the candidate should be born before 2nd January 2001 and not after 1st January 2004 (both dates inclusive).

Indian Army Recruitment 2019 - Selection Criteria

Candidates are shortlisted for the post on the basis of their class 12th marks. Shortlisted candidates are required to appear for the SSB interview scheduled from January 2020. SSB interview is conducted in two stages. Those who get through the stage-I are recommended for stage-II. Unsuccessful candidates are returned on the same day of stage-I. Stage-II comprises of series of tests and continues for 5 days. A medical examination will also be conducted for candidates recommended after the SSB interview.

After final selection, candidates have to undergo training of 5 years.

Indian Army Recruitment 2019 - Stipend

During the training period, the gentlemen cadets will receive a monthly stipend of ₹ 56,100/-.
