IGNOU B.Ed and OPENMAT Entrance Exam to be Conducted by NTA

NTA will conduct IGNOU Entrance Exam for MBA and B.Ed Admission courses for the upcoming 2020 session.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University has released a notification for IGNOU BEd and OPENMAT (MBA) entrance exam for January 2020 admissions. Candidates can view the complete set of notification with all necessary updates released on 13^th June 2019 at the official website of IGNOU i.e. ignou.ac.in.

According to the notification, from now onwards National Testing Agency (NTA) will responsible to conduct the entrance exams for Bachelor of Education and Master of Business Administration Courses for the eligible aspirants of India. As per updates, the IGNOU OPENMAT & B.Ed entrance test for the upcoming 2020 session will be conducted on 27^th July 2019 at more than 100 cities across Indian states.

As per latest updates, Vice Chancellor of IGNOU said that the decision to join hands with NTA has been taken because the agency have quite more experience to conduct such entrance exams at national level. Apart from this, it is also an important fact that NTA is a government agency. Further he adds, if the experience with NTA goes well, IGNOU is contemplating to go for Online Examination for its other popular programmes as well.

The registration process for IGNOU B.Ed and OPENMAT 2020 program will soon begin online at the IGNOU official Website. Complete details of the programme will likely to be released at the end of June 2019. Students are advised to visit this site on a daily basis and get instant updates about notifications published on IGNOU portal.

Candidates must note that no application in hard copy will be accepted, as the application form for entrance will be made available and submitted via online mode only.
