UP B.Ed. Joint Entrance Exam 2019 – Application Process to Begin in February

The application process for the Uttar Pradesh Bachelor of Education (UP B.Ed.) Joint Entrance Examination 2019 has started on 11th February 2019. The official brochure and the examination scheduled have also been released on the official website of the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly.
This year, the UP B.Ed. Joint Entrance Exam will be conducted by the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly. All exam events from the application process to the counselling for admission will be done by the Rohilkhand University.
With the approval given by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to B.Ed. degree holders for teaching primary schools, the University is planning to increase the B.Ed. seats. At present, there are 2 lakh B.Ed. seats in 22,000 colleges in the state. Earlier, only BTC degree holder candidates were allowed to teach the primary level but now B.Ed. degree holders can also teach the primary sections.

UP B.Ed. JEE 2019 – Application Process
The online application form will be available on the official website of Rohilkhand University. Here are the steps to be followed:
- Go to the official website - http://www.mjpru.ac.in/.
- Click on the ‘Click here for U.P. B.Ed. JEE 2019’ link.
- You will be re-directed to UP B.Ed. 2019 portal (http://upbed2019.in/). You can directly visit the UP B.Ed. portal skipping the above two steps.
- Click on the link for JEE form.
- Click on New user registration.
- Read the instructions and tick the ‘I Agree’ check-box.
- Enter the details asked for and click on the ‘Generate OTP’ button to complete the registration process.
- Sign-in with the credentials to apply for the exam.
- Complete the application form.
- Take a print-out of the confirmation page.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates with Graduation/Post-Graduation degree OR degree in Sciences/Humanities/Social Science.
OR
- Degree in Engineering & Technology with specialization in Math & Sciences.
OR
- Any other degree equivalent to the above-mentioned qualifications.
- Candidates appearing in the final year of any of the above degree/courses are also eligible to appear for the UP B.Ed. JEE 2019 entrance exam.
Interested candidates are requested to apply for the entrance exam within the given time duration. The University will not be responsible for non-submission of the form due to last minute traffic on the website.
