NEET 2018 to be Held in 150 Cities after 43 New Centres Added to the List

The government has increased the new exam centres for NEET 2018 from 107 to 150, making it convenient for aspirants to reach the exam venue.

New Delhi/28.02.2018: Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar said the government has increased the new exam centres for NEET 2018 from 107 to 150, making it convenient for aspirants to reach the exam venue. He tweeted, "Forty-three new centres granted for #NEET2018 exam. For the first time, NEET exam would be conducted in 150 cities. In 2017 NEET exam was conducted in 107 cities.”

The inclusion of these 43 new exam centres would help around 4,000 applicants who travelled to other cities to appear in NEET 2017 exam. In a tweet the Minister mentioned, “All the cities from where 4000 and more candidates have applied and which were not the centres in 2017 have been added as centre cities for NEET 2018 exam.”
