GMAT 2020 To be Held Online From April 20: All You Need To Know

Amid COVID-19 Lockdown, GMAT is all set to be conducted online from April 20. Check new format.

To ensure that the academic timetable remains intact, the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), administrator of the GMAT has allowed candidates to appear for the GMAT 2020 online exam from their home. On 14th April 2020, the registration process for Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) has begun and students have an opportunity to take the test by choosing exam dates from 20th April onward.

In the recent notification, GMAC announced that the online registration window is now open for GMAT 2020 exam. Candidates must note that, GMAT will not be conducted at any exam centre, candidates can participate in the test while sitting at home. This facility will be open until 15th June after which further decisions will be taken after considering the coronavirus situation. To ensure the smooth conduct of the GMAT exam, strict security measures are also been adopted by the exam conducting body.

How to Fill GMAT 2020 Application Form

GMAT is a management entrance exam perfumed round the year where the candidates have the liberty to take the exam anytime in the year as per their convenience. Well to apply successfully for CMAT 2020, one should require following these steps:

  • Visit the official GMAT website, https://www.mba.com/exams/gmat
  • Click on the link, Register for GMAT exam.
  • Provide your personal details like Name, address, etc. along with academic and work details.
  • Now, verify and submit your details.
  • In the next step, schedule your exam and choose your closest or preferred test center.
  • Select the preferred date and time slot.
  • Pay the GMAT Registration fee ₹ 19,190 online through debit or credit card.
  • After paying the examination fee your GMAT Registration is complete.

GMAT 2020: New Examination Pattern Introduced

 Meanwhile, the GMAC has also changed the examination pattern for GMAT 2020. Earlier, the exam used to have four parts — quantitative, integrated reasoning, verbal, and analytical writing assessment. For the 2020 online exams, the writing section has been omitted and marks will be divided among the three sections.

Now, the quantitative section of GMAT 2020 will have 31 questions, which needs to be solved in 62 minutes while the verbal section will have 36 questions to be solved in 65 minutes and integrated reasoning have 12 questions to be solved in 30 minutes.
