GCET 2020 Result - Important Dates, Merit List, and Counselling Process
GCET result is declared by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa. The result is uploaded on the official website and is also provided at the DTE Notice Board. The result will be available in PDF file on the official website. The result PDF will comprise of roll number of qualified candidates and marks secured in each subject viz. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. After the declaration of the GCET 2020 result, candidates are required to appear for the counselling process for admission. Steps to Check the GCET 2020 Result
The GCET result is released online at the official website. Candidates must follow the steps provided here to check their results.
- Visit the official website - https://dte.goa.gov.in.
- Look for the GCET 2020 result link on the home-page.
- Click the link and the result PDF will open.
- Use the ‘CTRL+F’ command from the keyboard to find your roll number in the list of qualified candidates.
- Check your scores in different subjects.
GCET 2020 Merit List
Based on the marks secured by the candidates in the exam, a merit list is prepared for admission. Separate merit lists are prepared for all the categories. Separate lists are released for Engineering and Pharmacy courses.
GCET 2020 Counselling
Qualified candidates are required to participate in the counselling process for admission. No seat will be allotted without the counselling process. Candidates are required to appear for the counselling process as per their merit rank. Seats are allotted based on the preferences provided by the candidate and the availability of seats. Candidates are then required to report at the allotted college with all the documents mentioned in the allotment letter and fee amount for admission. Admission will be confirmed only after completing all the required formalities.
