CLAT 2020 Admit Card Available at Official Website, Check Details

CLAT admit card 2020 can be downloaded from the official website from 15th September 2020 till the exam day i.e. 28th September 2020.

The Consortium of National Law Universities, Bengaluru has uploaded the admit cards for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2020 at the official website. Candidates can visit and download the same from the official website.

Candidates can log-in using their credentials and download the admit card and practice from the previous years’ question papers for the upcoming exam.

CLAT 2020 exam date for UG and PG will now be held on 28th September 2020 (2 PM - 4 PM). CLAT 2020 will be conducted in online, centre-based mode. CLAT consortium has released special guidelines for the exam, considering COVID-19 situation, including that candidates must wear masks, carry sanitizers, and maintain social distancing.

Steps to download CLAT 2020 Admit Card

Follow the steps provided below to download the admit card for the common law admission test:

  • Go to the official website - https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/clat-2020/.
  • Click on the “Login” button at the top of the home-page.
  • Enter your mobile number and password and click the ‘Login’ button.
  • Your admit card will appear on the screen.
  • Download it and take a print out.

Read the instructions on the admit card carefully to find out about the documents to be carried to the examination hall. Entry to the examination hall will not be provided without the admit card. Do carry it on the examination day.

How to recover password for CLAT 2020 admit card login?

In case, candidates forget the password required to login to their registered accounts, they can follow the below-mentioned steps to recover the same:

  1. On the login window for CLAT 2020 Admit Card, click on the 'Forgot Password' button at the bottom.
  2. It will open to a new page, where candidates need to enter the registered mobile number or email id.
  3. Click on Request OTP button and it will be sent on the registered mobile number.
  4. A pop-up will appear – Click on OK button.
  5. Enter mobile number, OTP (received on the mobile) and the new password.
  6. Click on Reset Password button.
  7. A new password will be successfully generated.

Thereafter, candidates can log in to their registered accounts using the mobile number and new password to download their CLAT hall ticket. 

Details on CLAT Admit Card 2020

Once applicants download their hall ticket, it is important to check all the information present on the document carefully. The information given on the admit card should match with the one provided by candidates on the CLAT application form. The admit card for CLAT will contain relevant details related to candidates and the exam such as:

  • Candidate’s details including name, the application number, reservation category, date of birth.
  • Candidate’s photo and signature.
  • Exam details including course, date and time of the exam.
  • CLAT exam centre name and location.
  • Reporting time for candidates at the allotted exam centre.

In case, candidates find any discrepancy in the information provided on the admit card, they must contact the CLAT Consortium office to get it rectified. 

Examination Pattern

CLAT 2020 exam will be held offline for admission in UG and PG law courses. The test will consist of 200 multiple choice questions of one mark each. 0.25 marks will be deducted for incorrect answer. Questions are asked from areas such as Elementary Mathematics (20 marks), English (40 marks), General Knowledge and Current Affairs (50 marks), Legal Aptitude (50 marks), and Logical Reasoning (40 marks).
