CBSE Result 2020: Board to Issue 10th/12th Marksheets Via DigiLocker App

The Central Board of Secondary Education has started the last stage preparation for the announcement of CBSE Board Results 2020 for 10th and 12th Results 2020. As per the media reports indicate, this time the Board plans to release the candidate’s marksheets and other documents related to CBSE 10th and 12th Result 2020 via DigiLocker Mobile App.

Recently, CBSE sent an SMS to all enrolled students and asking them to download the DigiLocker Mobile app. In addition, they asked students to create an account in the app for CBSE Results 2020.

Earlier, CBSE announced the CBSE Board Class 10 and Class 12 Results are likely to be announced by 15th July 2020 for all the students. These results will be based on a new assessment and internal marking scheme.

CBSE Sends SMS to Download DigiLocker App to Students

As per the leading media report, the CBSE Board has sent an SMS to all the students, waiting for the announcement of CBSE Results 2020 to download DigiLocker App and create an account on it. Through this, candidates will be able to access their mark sheet as soon as the results are declared.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and closure of schools across the country, hence, getting physical copies of passing certificates, marksheets, and migration certificates would not be possible for the students. Therefore, as an alternative, the Board would be offering digitally signed copies of these documents to the students.

DigiLocker mobile app is launched by the Government of India to help citizens obtain digitally signed copies of certificates for various government services. Students who are not familiar with the downloading steps of DigiLocker App can follow these simple guides given below, to download the app and obtain digitally signed copies of CBSE 10th and 12th Result 2020 marksheets:

1. Visit playstore (Android users) and app store (iPhone users) on your mobile phone.
2. Search for the application and Download DigiLocker App on your phone.
3. In the next step, register yourself by creating a profile in the mobile app.
4. Enter the mobile number and verify it using your OTP.
5. Now, enter your 6 digit security pin, which will be your last 6 digits of your exam roll number.
6. Download CBSE Marksheets and Documents and use it for admission purpose.
