CBSE board has stared the pre-exam psychological counselling. Students can ask their questions through toll-free number or online. Check out complete details.
01st February 2018: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be providing the pre-exam psychological counselling to board exam students. The board is providing the service for the 21st consecutive year to help students dealing with the exam stress. The couselling has started today and will be provided till 13th April 2018.
The pre-exam Psychological counselling will begin from 01st February and continue till 13th April. The counselling sessions will be for both students and parents.
The board has also provided a centralized helpline facility. Students can dial the toll-free number 1800 11 8004 from anywhere in the country. The number will remain operational from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM from 01st February to 13th April 2018.
General queries related to the exam will be answered by the operators while the questions related to exam anxiety and stress will be answered by the counselors or principals.
CBSE is also providing counselling for differently-abled students for which four special educators are participating.
Weekly Question-Answer Columns
CBSE experts will also answer student's queries through weekly question answer columns. These will be published in major newspaper during the counselling period.

Participants in the Counselling
91 principals, psychologists, special educators and trained counselors from CBSE affiliated government and private schools will participate in this year’s tele-counselling. 71 of them will be available in India while 20 in Nepal, Sultanate of Oman, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Al-Khobar), UAE (Sharjah, Dubai, Ras Al-Khaimah), Singapore, Kuwait, Qatar and Japan.
CBSE board class XII and class X examinations are scheduled to begin from 05th March 2018. Candidates can download the complete datesheet from the official website.
