Many colleges in India offer hotel management and catering technology courses. But a student should prefer colleges which are approved by the AICTE/ UGC/ NCHMCT. After the completion of the course, one can become a Chef, Hotel Manager, Food and Beverage Manager, etc.

NCHMCT JEE Latest Updates – NTA has released the schedule for the NCHM JEE 2020 exam. The exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on 25th April 2020. The registration process will continue till 29th February 2020 starting from 1st January 2020.

*Graded Marks – In the question paper, for questions about the service sector, there will be graded marking. It means the most appropriate answer will be given 1 mark, after that the second most appropriate answer will be given 0.75 marks and the third most appropriate response will be given 0.50 marks. 0.25 marks will be deducted for an inappropriate answer.

NCHMCT JEE 2020 Syllabus -

There is no syllabus prescribed by the NCHMCT. However, based on previous years papers, there are various books available in the market which comprises of the topics covered in the exam. Here are some of the important topics for each section.

Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude

Arithmetic, Number Systems, Square roots and Cube roots, Simplification, LCM and HCF, Profit and Loss, Simple Interest and Compound Interest, Time and Distance, Work and Wages, Clocks & Calendar, etc.

Reasoning and Logical Deduction

Series, Analytical Reasoning, Linear Arrangement, Syllogism, Data Interpretation, Statements Conclusions, Problems based on Symmetry, Direction and Distance, Blood Relations, etc.

NCHMCT JEE Exam 2020 Eligibility

For appearing in the NCHMCT JEE 2020 examination, candidates must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

  • Should have passed 10+2 level of education from any recognised Central/State Board with English as one of the subjects.
  • Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear for JEE 2020. Such candidates are required to submit the proof of passing the qualifying examination latest by 30 September 2020.
  • The upper age limit for the exam as on 1 July 2020:
    • 22 years (born on or after 01 July 1998) – General and OBC
    • 25 years (born on or after 01 July 1995) – SC and ST
  • Upper age limit for physically challenged candidates as per the category they belong to.

NCHMCT JEE Exam 2020 Application Process

A candidate can get the application form online at the official website of the NTA NCHMCT JEE exam. The application forms will remain available from 1st January to 29th February 2020. Here are the steps to be followed:

Steps to fill the NCHM JEE 2020 Application Form -

  • Visit the NCHMCT JEE official website and register for the exam by providing details such as email ID, mobile number, choosing a password, and a security question. On successful registration, an application number is generated.
  • Login using the application number and password to complete the remaining application form.
  • Upload the scanned images of photograph and signature in JPEG/ JPG format. The photograph image must be between 10 to 200 KB and the signature image must be between 4 to 30 KB.
  • Make a payment of the application fee. The application fee can be paid by using a Debit/ Credit card/ Net banking/ e-challan.

Other Details

NCHMCT JEE 2020 Exam: Admit Card

Candidates can download NCHMCT JEE Admit Card from the official website of the NTA NCHM from 1st April 2020 onwards. Candidates must download the hall ticket well before the exam to avoid the last-minute rush. Log-in details - application number and password - are required to access the admit card. Read the instructions on the admit card carefully and follow them.

Candidates are required to appear for the exam as per the date and timing mentioned on the admit card. “For those who are unable to appear on the scheduled date of tests for any reason, the NTA shall not be responsible for the conduct of re-test, under any circumstances,” states the official notification.

NCHMCT JEE 2020 Exam: Result Declaration & Counselling

Candidates can check their results online by entering their name and date of birth by 10th May 2020. All India merit list is prepared as per the score of the candidates in the NCHMCT JEE written examination.

The successful candidates in the exam are called for counselling and the allotment of seats. On the basis of the marks scored by the candidates and his choice for the college and course, a seat is allotted.
