UP Board Class 10th Result 2020 - Steps to Check, Passing Criteria, and Re-Evaluation

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has declared the result for UP Board class 10th exam on 27th June 2020. The exams were conducted from 18th February to 3rd March 2020. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check their result at the official website.

As per the information by the UP Board, 27,72,656 students have appeared for the exam. The total number of candidates who have passed the exam are 24,72,730. Thus, the overall pass percentage is 83%. Female students have outshined the male students. The pass percentage of female students is 87.29% while that of male students is 79.88%.

The general steps for checking the UP Board Class 10th Result are:

  • Visit the official or any other website mentioned above.
  • Check for the Class 10th Result 2020 link and click it.
  • Enter the details asked for and Submit the same.
  • The result will appear on the screen.
  • Download and take a print.

SMS

  • Students can also check the UP board result through SMS. Here is the process:
  • Type ‘UP10roll number’ in a message and send the message to 56263. For example, UP10XXXX. Enter your roll number in place of X.
  • The result will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number in the form of a text message.

Mobile Application

Candidates can also check their result through the UP Board mobile-app. It is available at Google Play. Just download and enter your details for checking the result.

UP Board Passing Criteria for Class X

The minimum passing percentage for qualifying the class X UP board examination is 35%.

Re-evaluation Process

If any student is not satisfied with his marks/percentage, he/she can request for re-evaluation. Candidates have to pay the re-evaluation fee. Candidates are required to pay ₹ 500 for re-evaluation. Earlier, the fee was ₹ 100.
