SSC Released Admit Card for Paper-II of Junior Hindi Translator Exam 2018

14th April 2019: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the admit cards for Paper-II of the Junior Hindi Translator (JHT) exam 2018. Candidates who have qualified the Paper-I of the exam and have applied for Paper-II can download the admit card for the same form the regional SSC websites.

SSC JHT Paper-II will be conducted on 26th May 2019. Paper-I of the JHT exam was conducted on 12th January 2019 and the result for the same was released on 22nd March through which 2041 candidates were declared eligible for appearing in Paper-II.

Steps to download SSC JHT 2018 Admit Card for Paper II

  • Visit the official regional website through which you have applied for the exam.
  • Click on the link for JHT, JT, SHT, and Hindi Pradhyapak Examination Admit Card link.
  • Admit card can be downloaded through the candidate’s name or roll number. Enter any one of the details and proceed.
  • The admit card will appear on the screen. Check all the details carefully.
  • Download it and take a print.

Carry the admit card to the examination centre along with valid ID proof (in original).

  • Direct link for downloading Central Region Admit Card.
  • Direct link for downloading Western Region Admit Card.
  • Direct link for downloading Southern Region Admit Card.

Steps to download the SSC JHT Admit Card 2018 for Paper-I

  • Visit the official website -
  • Click on the ‘ADMIT CARD’ option on the top of the home-page.
  • Select the region you have applied under as admit cards can be downloaded only through the regional websites.
  • You will be re-directed to the regional website.
  • Look for the JHT e-admission certificate link and click it.
  • The admit card can be downloaded either through the registration number, roll number, or letters of your name and date of birth.
  • Download your e-admission certificate using any one of the options.
  • Take a print-out of the admit card.

Note: Before taking a printout, make sure that A4 paper is selected and 5mm margins are left from top and bottom.

SSC JHT Exam 2018

The SSC JHT exam comprises of two papers. Paper-I which was conducted on 12th January 2019 through computer-based mode and Paper-II (Descriptive) which is scheduled to be conducted on 26th May 2019.

Paper –I comprises of General Hindi and General English subjects of 100 marks each. The duration of the paper is 2 hours. Questions are of objective type. There is negative marking of 0.25 marks in paper-I.

Paper-II is of conventional type (descriptive) comprising of translation and essay writing. The paper is of maximum 200 marks and 2 hours duration.

The exam is conducted for filling vacancies of Junior Translator, Junior Hindi Translator, Senior Hindi Translator, and Hindi Pradhyapak in various ministries/departments.
